Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season, premiering on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator as well as one of the first hosts of The Talk. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work. Her true love was the time she brought writer into her duties and won an Emmy for her work. She also won an Emmy for hosting and outstanding television talkshow. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and the host on The Early Show. After 9/11 she went to Cairo to conduct an interesting and informative interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News program. The show featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Prior to The Early Show he was the CBS own station journalist in New York City, WCBS. Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a journalist at WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). In addition, she was employed by ABC NewsOne from 1992-1995. This was her first broadcasting job as a desk assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves and Ted Koppel were co-hosts in Anatomy of a Riot - the primetime TV special which won the Columbia du-Pont award - which looked at what happened during the Los Angeles riots of 1992.
